Dr. Mukesh Batra Hosts his 8th Annual Charity Photo Exhibition, Extended to Five Cities

Life Through the Lens of a Doctor

Continuing his passion of photography, Dr. Mukesh Batra, awarded Padma Shri by the President of India, India’s most-renowned homeopath, Founder and Chairman of Dr Batra's™ Positive Health Clinic, today showcased at his 8th annual charity photo exhibition, yet another notable collection of photographs titled ‘Magic Moments’. After its first stop in Bengaluru, the photographs will be exhibited in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune.

The proceeds of the event will be donated to Little Sisters of the Poor (Home for the Aged), Bengaluru, where poor people of 65 years of age and above live without distinction of caste, creed or religion, and are provided with food, clothing, shelter and care.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mukesh Batra said, “As a Doctor, I have seen so much pain and sufferings of my patients that I wanted to keep my sensitivity alive through some form or the other. For me, photography celebrates the equilibrium of the body and mind. Photography is an artistic expression that can capture beautiful moments when words are not sufficient to describe their true splendor. My biggest inspiration is my cause – a good cause. This allows me to collect funds for the underprivileged. This year the proceeds will be donated to Little Sisters of the Poor (Home for the Aged), Bengaluru. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to help in alleviating some suffering of the disadvantaged.”

This year the exhibition will showcase the diverse landscape of the island of Maui, the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the 17th largest island in the United States. This exhibition will present its heavenly beaches, its scenic natural wonders and the breathtaking views of the volcanic cones.

Works from Dr Batra'sâ„¢ previous exhibitions have adorned the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, the Citigold Lounges at the Citibank offices of Mumbai and Delhi, and the corporate office of Bajaj as well as other prestigious offices and also homes.

The photographs from the collection ‘Magic Moments’ will also be available for sale at all Dr Batra's™ clinics in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The prices begin from Rs. 2000/- onwards.
