39years old Reena suffered from purplish ulcers in her mouth since 2years which caused burning pain when she had food which was absolutely bland. Recently she had developed few lesions on her forehead which appeared as small, discrete, dry, purplish raised spots with mild itching. She had no stress regarding anything. She consulted her local doctors and she was given conventional medicines for mouth ulcers. She started to lose weight as she could not eat well because of the pain caused by the ulcers in the mouth. She consulted a homoeopathic doctor. After proper examination she was told that she suffered from Oral Lichen Planus which was now slowly spreading to the visible parts of the body. Her detailed case history was prescribed homoeopathic medicine with home care tips on oral hygiene. Slowly and steadily she improved and after 6months of homeopathic treatment she did not get a single episode of blisters in the mouth and her weight also improved.

Homeopathy is very effective in treating Lichen planus. As this disorder is caused due to defect in the immune system, homeopathy helps treating it by correcting the deviated immune system and restoring it back to normalcy.
